Description

modern large format painting on canvas with medieval battle in contemporary style painting of war and peace
“Fin del Conflicto” 40,9×79,5″ inches (104x202cm), mixed technique acrylic and spray paint on canvas, Siviglia 2022

TITLE: “Fin del Conflicto”

We are all waiting for the war in Ukraine to finally come to an end, like the battle in this painting by Alessandro Siviglia where we can see several soldiers fighting with swords on horseback. The soldier on the ground has put down his weapon and raises a dove as a sign of peace.

The painting was made with a mixed technique of very bright and lively acrylic and spray colors on a large canvas. The complex and dynamic scene of a medieval battle painted in a contemporary cubist style typical for Siviglia lends is perfect to furnishing a historic building as it creates a link between the modern and the ancient. Also ideal for furnishing a law firm and large spaces such as open spaces, a waiting room or a reception hall. A painting that an architect or an interior designer can integrate into his renovation project for a period building in a historic center.
