Listo para la Guerra

Description

TITLE: “Listo para la Guerra”

Modern artwork, 39,37×27,55 inches (100x70cm), acrylic and spray paint on canvas, Siviglia 2024

The painting ‘Listo para la Guerra’ draws inspiration from a young soldier on horseback, clad in armor and brandishing a sword, poised for battle. The rider sits astride a white steed, set against a captivating abstract backdrop of gold, copper, red, teal, and other vibrant hues. This artwork is not only ideal for adorning Sicilian homes but also resonates with lovers of Sicily, its rich traditions, and iconic characters. In fact, the composition evokes memories of Orlando Furioso, a Sicilian puppet mounted on his trusty steed.

Siviglia frequently captures historical figures associated with different places, including puppets, for example Pulcinella, and even Napoleon, alongside landscapes he has personally visited and explored. As an artist, he also undertakes commissioned works, creating portraits, landscapes, abstract pieces, and figurative paintings using oil, acrylic, watercolor, and spray techniques on canvas. Each piece features an exposed frame, ready to grace the walls of your home, no matter its a down town apartment or a residential villa.

Alessandro Siviglia’s paintings come in various sizes, catering to both large and small spaces. Whether displayed in apartments, offices, doctors’ practices, legal firms, or cosmetic surgery clinics, these unique and niche artworks remain exclusive to the artist’s official website and only few selected galleries, deliberately avoiding commercial availability.
