Dionisio a Cavallo della Pantera

“Dionisio che cavalca la pantera” is a captivating modern painting by the renowned artist Alessandro Siviglia. It is elegantly framed in a splendid antique-style frame, adding a touch of rarity and allure. The composition stands out for its restrained color palette—a black and gray background accentuated with striking white strokes, radiant gold, and a vivid red. This unique piece is rendered using a combination of acrylic and spray paint, a signature technique of Siviglia. As a former writer and street artist, Siviglia masterfully infuses his urban art influences into his creations, giving them a distinctive and dynamic character.

Siviglia’s works are deliberately absent from fairs and smaller galleries, a choice that reflects his desire to maintain the exclusivity of his art. By distancing himself from the mass-market distribution often seen in Italian galleries, he protects the niche appeal of his creations. Additionally, Siviglia chooses not to collaborate with art dealers, many of whom prioritize business interests or, at times, engage in the sale of ambiguous art produced by individuals lacking an artistic pedigree.

The artist is committed to producing certified, one-of-a-kind pieces. He encourages potential buyers—whether seeking a painting or a sculpture—to acquire his works directly from him or through verified, reputable art galleries. Siviglia stresses the importance of thoroughly vetting the source when purchasing art, as the art world is rife with unscrupulous individuals exploiting artists and their creations for personal gain.
