TITLE: “La Dea dell’ Eros”
Modern artwork, 14.57 x 28.35 inches (37×72 cm), mixed technique acrylic and spray on canvas, Siviglia 2025
„La Dea dell‘ Eros“ in English “The Goddess of Eros” is an original creation by the artist Alessandro Siviglia, who reimagines Botticelli’s iconic Venus with his distinctive and recognizable style. The scene is set in a romantic and fantastical atmosphere, with Venus portrayed as an ethereal and sublime figure. At her feet, a king kneels in a gesture of devotion, offering her a heartfelt love letter.
On the left side of the painting, a man holds a playing card in one hand and throws dice with the other, while a flower blooms from his head. He represents imagination and the element of luck essential in love. Dominating the composition is a warm, radiant sun that, along with the vibrant red and orange hues of the sky, imbues the piece with a passionate and captivating energy.
This lively and dynamic artwork has the power to enhance any space. Its medium size allows it to fit comfortably even in smaller areas, making it perfect for decorating a home’s entrance, living room, or a bedroom above a dresser. Additionally, it serves as a refined and meaningful gift, ideal for weddings or as a symbol to accompany a marriage proposal.
