Portrait of Jesus with the crown of thorns on his head and traces of blood on his cheeks, near the temples. The halo around his head and his robe are made of golden dust, creating a sparkling effect. — Sacred portrait “Jesus of Nazareth” 70×50 cm, acrylic, spray and glitter on canvas, Siviglia 2025

TITLE: “Gesù di Nazareth”

Medium size artwork, religious portrait 27.6 × 19.7 inches (70×50 cm), acrylic, spray and glitter on canvas, Siviglia 2025

A contemporary portrait of Jesus that merges visual intensity with spiritual depth. Christ’s face, streaked with blood, radiates a serene sweetness and a gaze full of compassion, capable of stirring the viewer’s soul. The crown of thorns evokes suffering and sacrifice, while a large, radiant halo—enhanced by shimmering golden dust—casts a mystical and solemn glow around him.

His robe, adorned with glitter, underscores his divine royalty, blending sacred symbolism with modern artistic flair in a striking harmony. The painting’s emotional power lies in its ability to convey both majesty and humility, inviting quiet contemplation and offering a sense of inner peace.

A compelling example of modern sacred art, perfect for spaces devoted to reflection, spirituality, or simply the pursuit of beauty that inspires the heart.
