TITLE: “Casinò”

Large-format modern painting with a gambling scene, 100×100 cm, acrylic, spray and collage on canvas, A. Siviglia 2026

A modern painting featuring a figurative scene with an elegant man and two 1930s-style dancers gathered around a poker table.
Against the green baize, the playing cards immediately draw the eye—especially one unusual card: a contemporary reinterpretation of the Mona Lisa, inserted as a witty and unexpected detail. The original artwork by Alessandro Siviglia, titled Casino, is a large square composition created using mixed media—acrylic, spray paint, and collage on canvas—blending painting, graphic elements, and fragments of printed material.

Every figure, from the prominent characters to the more concealed silhouettes and the collage elements sourced from newspapers and magazines, evokes the atmosphere of the Roaring Thirties: the era of Prohibition, speakeasies, and clandestine gambling rooms. The painting pulses with energy, movement, and a cinematic charm, as if capturing a moment suspended between reality and imagination.

The vivid colors and dynamic composition make this artwork a striking focal point, ideal for spacious, bright interiors such as a modern living room. It is equally well suited for bars, lounges, entertainment rooms, or creative venues seeking to evoke an elegant, vintage yet contemporary ambiance.
