Modern artwork on canvas, 27,55×22,44 inches (70×57), artist Alessandro Siviglia
“Autoritratto nel Buio”translated “Selfportrait in the Dark” is a painting that portrays the artist Alessandro Siviglia while he creates a canvas in his atelier. The artist’s studio is depicted with little light, cold and dark. It shows that the artist is not very happy in his studio as in winter the sun won’t shine in and there is no heating. The portrait reflects the artist and his state of mind in this transition period until he finds a new place for his atelier. This artwork on canvas is mounted and stretched, ready to hang.
