Abstract Women

Description

TITLE: “Donne Astratte”

Medium size artwork, Abstract Portrait of women, 6,69 x 24,40 inches (17×62 cm), mixed technique on canvas, Siviglia 2025

This original painting by artist Alessandro Siviglia features an abstract portrait of four female faces, each expressively intense. Three of the figures are depicted frontally, gazing directly at the viewer, creating a sense of presence and immediate engagement. The fourth, placed on the far right, is portrayed in profile, facing the other three women, as if to suggest a silent dialogue or a narrative within the composition.

The main contours, boldly drawn in black, delineate the forms with graphic force, while hues of purple, plum, azure, and blue intertwine to shape the faces and spaces, generating a visual dynamic rich in mystery and abstraction. The intense and layered use of color helps create a suspended atmosphere, where identity dissolves into an emotional and symbolic dimension.

The work’s slender, horizontal format makes it particularly suited to intimate spaces: ideal above a bedroom dresser, in the entryway, or as a distinctive feature behind a desk in a study. With its expressive power and contemporary visual language, this painting is not only decorative, but capable of transforming the environment in which it is placed, offering food for thought and beauty.
