Description
TITLE “EFFETTO DOMINO”
The domino effect is a chain reaction that is triggered when change is able to produce another change, originating a linear sequence. With this great work the artist wants to express the purpose of his art in general. He wants to create a reaction within the viewer, either amazement, entertainment or even admiration which would then cause a “domino effect” on other people he meets. A person observes the modern painting with the vivid and authentic colors of Alessandro Siviglia and can´t help to talk about it to another person etc.etc. causing the same reaction as on domino bricks, literally dominating the art scene and the public attention.
At the center of the painting we can see Cupid with his bow and arrow aiming at three women undecided who to shoot his arrow, one of the three women is the reinterpretation of the nymph recently discovered in the excavations of Pompeii while the other two women are real people seen by the artist and brought on the canvas. We also find in this work the king and a knight on horseback with armor and sword who goes towards the women and an angel who whispers something in his ear while below there is an ambiguous figure who does not walk but crawls on the bottom of the painting under the horse’s hooves like a worm. Above there are other figures like angels and ordinary people. In the background instead there is represented a sky of strange colors with the moon and stars.
This painting is a hundred by two hundred centimeters, it can be used to decorate a large conference room in a big company or to furnish a large modern house. With the many bright and intense colors it helps to personalize your home or work environment in an original and authentic way, like many more large modern artworks by the Italian artist Alessandro Siviglia that can be found in this art gallery.
