TITLE: “Eros il Dio dell’Amore”

Modern artwork on canvas, 47,24 x 39,37 inches (120x100cm) acrylic and spray on canvas, 2024

Siviglia has painted many works of “Eros” and “Amor” in the past, canvases of various sizes and always using different techniques. Siviglia believes there is never enough love and that’s why he paints the Greek god of love in various poses like this, ready to shoot his magical arrow. He chose a purple background because that is the color of kings and deities. In fact, Christ was also given a crimson cloak by the Roman soldiers to represent him as king along with the crown of thorns.

Cupid, in this large portrait, watches us with curious eyes, ready to take action and bring love into our lives. The painting is made of acrylic and spray and is framed with an antique gold frame. Perfect for decorating historic spaces while furnished in a modern, contemporary style.
