Gatto Renato

Description

TITLE: “Gatto Renato”

Modern artwork, 12.2 x 11.02 inches (31×28 cm), acrylic on wooden board, framed – Siviglia 2025

A portrait of a black cat lying on a yellow background, elegantly framed in a gold frame. This work by Siviglia is titled “Renato the Cat”. The name Renato derives from the late Latin term “rinatus” meaning “reborn” or “born again”. Historically, this name was used mainly by converted Christian believers. However, in this painting, it may refer to reincarnation, as many people believe in rebirth after death, but as an animal rather than a human. An intriguing concept, yet above all, a charming and delightful painting, perfect for animal lovers and cat enthusiasts alike.

Handcrafted with acrylic colors on board and framed with a double frame that accentuates the cat, this painting is of a small size, making it easy to place in any space, even the most compact. It is an ideal gift for a veterinarian or as a gift for the grand opening of a pet shop.
