TITLE: “Gli Eroi che Salvarono Siracusa”

Modern artwork on canvas, 37,40×77,74 inches (95x200cm), artist Alessandro Siviglia

“Gli Eroi che Salvarono Siracusa” in English “The Heroes Who Saved Syracuse” is a large painting with a medieval scene of soldiers in armor on horseback on a blue and red background. Beyond the knights there are several women who accompany them, one with the tambourine, another bows down to express her dedication, in the center there is the sun in person with a candle in his hand ready to light their way.

The contemporary artwork was created with a mixed technique of acrylic, spray and oil on canvas by the artist Alessandro Siviglia. Siviglia makes this battle scene particularly dynamic and lively with his Siviglian style, a unique and distinct painting style with the quick strokes of a graffiti writer. His figurative paintings are full of color and life between cubism, naive and street art. He invents surreal, fabulous, curious, funny and yet profound figurative scenes that take you into another world.

This large horizontal rectangular canvas is suitable for decorating the wall behind a sofa in a large, bright living room or in an open space for example. Also ideal for a waiting room in a medical or legal office, in a hotel reception in Sicily, in Syracuse for example.
