TITLE: “GUERRA D’AUTORE”
Modern artwork,
34.65 x 70.47 inches (88×179 cm), mixed technique acrylic, spray and college on canvas, Siviglia 2025
Siviglia explores his internal wars—unresolved conflicts, battles fought, and those yet to come. In a world where war dominates the news, his paintings serve as a powerful representation of struggle and sacrifice. His works depict dramatic scenes of combat on horseback, with armored soldiers ready to give their lives for their ideals. But are these ideals truly just? Are they worth the ultimate price?
“Guerra d’Autore,” a large modern painting, is perfect for collectors in Rome and beyond, as Siviglia’s works are shipped worldwide. Inspired by the renowned oil painting *Mori contro Cristiani*, this piece takes the theme further, evolving in style, color, and above all, thought. It invites viewers to confront reality with courage and anguish, determination and doubt—perhaps echoing life itself.
An imposing artwork, it is an ideal choice for the office of a successful lawyer or doctor, the sophisticated ambiance of a dental practice, or the waiting room of an accountant. Siviglia’s paintings bring spaces to life with unique color and style, sparking dialogue among viewers.
His works can be acquired by visiting his studio in Rome, or directly through the artist’s website.
