Il Cammino

Description

TITLE: “Il Cammino”

Modern artwork, mixed technique acrylic and spray on canvas, artist Alessandro Siviglia, year 2025

This painting by Siviglia, a contemporary Italian artist, created with acrylic and spray on canvas, depicts several stylized characters drawn in black and white on a garnet red background. As you read the scene from left to right, you notice the king sitting on the throne with an apple in his hand, while the other characters walk towards him. Some are bringing flowers, others love letters, and still others try to entertain him, like the juggler. The title “The Way” refers to the movement and direction of the characters. The horizontal format of the painting, rather long and narrow, is perfect for decorating the wall behind the sofa in the living room or behind the desk in a study or office.
