The artist immortalized a memory of his past when he lived in Spain. Spanish teenagers and youth often meet on the street, in the squares celebrating the "botellón", that is, they bring drinks from home and enjoy themselves in public, spending their time drinking, talking, dancing, etc. Of course, it often happens that they go home drunk and have to lighten up somewhere on the way. “L’Eide” is a female portrait by Alessandro Siviglia. The woman with black hair and a red dress is crouched behind a traffic light doing her business. The artist immortalized a memory of his past when he lived in Spain. This painting was made with acrylic colors on a wooden panel. The panel was actually an old furniture door that the artist took and transformed into a work of art. This is also something he often did during his stay in Spain. He painted on anything he found. Even today he likes to recycle old abandoned doors, flaps or frames to give them a new life and a new purpose. This is how art becomes sustainable too.
