The advantage of commissioning an art work is you can personalize the size and even the theme. Of course, Siviglia is an artist with a very unique and recognizable style. He won’t do realistic portraits, BUT he often does commissioned family portraits in his cubist style for example. Other art lovers may have a particular scene in their mind or special colors they want the canvas to be painted of. So all requests that an artist could keep in mind and yet create a wonderful and in every aspect artistic work.
